The executive committee helps the board accomplish its objectives by setting the agenda and presiding at board members. It also monitors board effectiveness and adherence to policies and procedures. 

The committee provides leadership, liaises with government ministers, and advocates for CASA and the CASA process. It also oversees CASA finances and operation of the secretariat.

There are four positions on the executive committee – president, two vice-presidents and secretary-treasurer.
