In 2003, CASA successfully used a collaborative approach to produce An Emissions Management Framework for the Alberta Electricity Sector. To Ensure continuous improvement and keep the Framework timely and relevant, a key recommendation was that a multi-stakeholer review be done every five years. A new project team was formed in June 2007 to undertake the first five year review.
